| A new Mini Cooper S will be seen by the public for the first time at the Paris Motor show in September 2006. | |
| The new car features numerous styling changes, but perhaps more significantly the Supercharged engine of the S is replaced by a new 1.6 litre Turbocharged unit. The new Turbo engine willl produce 175bhp which will be sufficient to propel the new S from 0-60 in around 7 seconds, and in addition, fuel economy is said to be considerably better than the old model. | | | The new car also features revised suspension components which are said to ehnance the ride and handling. | | | The size of the new car is almost exactly the same as the old one, and despite the styling changes, non-enthusiasts probably won't really notice the difference.
