Excitement is building to this year's Carnival set to bring a riot of colour to the streets of Pudsey with its theme 'World Food and Costume.' The Parade sets off at 12:00 noon and winds its way back to Queen's Park where a fun packed day is planned alongside Raymond Eddy's Fun Fair which opens Wednesday 14 May.

This year we are delighted to offer a limited number of sheltered pitches to local charitable organisations thanks to Pudsey Civic Society funding a marquee. A spokesperson for the Society said 'We aim to support the rich heritage of the old Pudsey Borough alongside its present and future interests and Pudsey Carnival has a long tradition enjoyed by the entire community. The marquee will enable new groups to showcase their voluntary work to the thousands expected to attend.'

Fingle Dingle Topping the Bill this year will be Dingle Fingle's Clown Town CrimeWatch. Help him catch Slippery Sid the classic car thief.

Also sponsoring the event are Lindley Clough, a local firm of solicitors based in Lowtown, Marks and Spencer, Asda and JCT600.
