View From The Field

Work continues on Braintree Carnival 2012, the 49th event in the current series. The event has been brought forward a week and will form part of the Town's week long Jubilee celebrations. Further details below:

The Stannage International Stunt Team will be topping the bill on Carnival Day. This is a 'true family affair' including Mark, Janine and Aaron 'Stuntage' Stannage.

Specialising in car, motorbike, fire, escapology and high fall stunts, they perform some of the most spectacular stunts ever seen.

The show will generate great excitement and is a great crowd puller so don't miss the opportunity to see one of the UK's top stuntman / escape artist.

Braintree and Bocking Carnival committee would like to invite your club / organisation to take part in our Tug of War Competition.

The competition will be held during the afternoon on June 2nd, with the final being held in the main arena. There will be a Trophy and a crate of beer (donated by Greene King) for the winning side.

If your team are interested in taking part, please download and complete the Tug of War Form
