Our Members give their time and expertise voluntarily to promote safer driving in Mansfield and surrounding Districts.
Social events are organised with visits to places of interest, quizzes, competitions, driving events, etc and activities with other Groups.
The Group publishes a bi monthly newsletter which is distributed to all Members. This contains general information about the Group and its activities, together with other articles of interest and concern to Members.
All members and Associates are encouraged to take an active part in the activities and events of the Group.
Promoting Safer Driving in the Mansfield Area
Our aim is to make the roads a safer place by improving driving standards and with this in mind, we work closely with local Road Safety Officers and the Nottinghamshire Police.
Group Members are available to give talks, show videos and arrange discussions on advanced driving to interested parties. For example motor clubs, WIs, Round Tables, Rotary Clubs, School Sixth Forms and any other organisations who would like to learn more about the work of the Mansfield Group of Advanced Motorists.
