If you're not already a member of the IAM, then the best option may be to take a free assessment at one of our guidance sessions. This gives you a chance to find out first hand how you will benefit from membership of our group, without any obligation. See our Diary for more details of when we hold these.
You can also join us by signing up online for the Institute's Skill for Life Programme. This covers all the costs associated with joining the IAM and passing your test.*

Skill for Life includes Associate Membership of our Group while we help you to prepare for your test. Once you have passed, you can join our Group as a full member, for which the fee is £12 per annum. You will use your own vehicle while preparing for the IAM test, and for the test itself. Many members recover much more than the costs of membership through more economical motoring as a result of having passed the test, and through other benefits of being members of the IAM.
