IAM Testimonials
I think the IAM’s new Testimonials page is a great idea so I’ve added information about it as a link at the top of the this page.
Before seeing this, I had hoped to encourage some of our members to write some testimonials of this nature for our website. For anyone considering joining the IAM and/or our Group I think its ideal for them to read something written by someone who they can relate to; that is, someone who had similar reasons for joining to their own. For that reason, contributions from a wide range of drivers would be great, so can I ask all of our members to write one and then we’re sure to have covered most of the possible reasons. Please.
If anyone in the Group decides to contribute a testimonial to the IAM’s site, could they please also consider letting us put that on our site too. It would be great content for us, and very useful for potential new members.

Publicity Anyone
Does anyone have any ideas that can help with publicity of the group?
Perhaps you feel we could advertise more, or should be speaking to more local organisations to tell them about the skills we offer?
Or maybe you have some great contacts in businesses who would consider sponsoring our guidances in return for links on our website and/or publicity for themselves at our guidance sessions.
Any ideas you have on how we can let more people know about our group and its work would be most welcome!

Added the Blog
Added a blog page to the intranet today.
This is a great place to store little snippets of information. These can be grouped by Categories and Tags. So for example this Blog Entry has the Category of Website and Tags of Blog and Help.
As the snippets (or Blog Entries) build up, you can easily find all of the ones that match a particular Category or Tag by clicking on the links in the sidebar to the right of this entry.
I’m not sure how useful the Blog Page will be for our Site, but I think it’s worth trying it out.
